THURSDAY THE COZAD MIDDLE School eighth grade choir performed in the Nebraska State Capitol Rotunda as part of the Nebraska Music Education Association’s Capitol Concert Series. The annual weeklong event coincides with national “Music in Our Schools Month.” The choir was one of eight ensembles selected for the 2022 series and was the only middle school choir so honored. Each ensemble performs a 30-minute concert with two ensembles performing over the noon hour this year from March 21-24. A bird’s eye view of the choir was taken from the Rotunda’s mezzanine.
