COLLECTING FOR a cause were the students of Cozad High School during the Annual National Honor Society (NHS) Food Drive that totalled 14,895.6 lbs. of food. NHS members assisted greatly with the project all week long. NHS members strike a pose with a portion of their donation to the Food Pantry. The Seniors collected the most with 8,059 lbs, along with the Juniors (1,609 lbs), Sophomores (3,064.2) and Freshmen (2,163.4) to fill the shelves of the Cozad Food Pantry during its busiest time of year.(RIGHT) Cozad NHS President Landry Geiger (right) presents checks and cash that total $1,912 to Food Pantry Board Member Kathy Hosick to use towards purchasing needed necessities for Cozad Area Food Pantry patrons.
