Three years after opening at a downtown location the Dawson County Children’s Museum has reopened in a new permanent location at 701 Plum Creek Parkway. During a June 3 open house, the former pizza restaurant was packed, and the delighted squeals of youngsters reverberated around the 15 learning stations which include everything from a dress up area, rocking horses, a slide and “tree house,” to a mockup space capsule, complete with an astronaut’s helmet.
