MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER Aaron Thomas displayed how to deal with adversity, making the most of all opportunities and the power of one during his keynote address on Saturday at the Fall Ball in Cozad.

Making the most of opportunities were the attendees to the Cozad Hospital Foundation Fall Ball 2018 that was held on Saturday evening at the Cozad Elks Club.
The Fall Ball highlighted the three inductees into the Cozad Hospital Foundation Healthcare Hall of Fame. Spotlighted during the emotional and joyous ceremony were: Peg Butler, Jane Jareske and Charlie Conroy. More specific details on their impacts on the Cozad Healthcare System can be found on page 6-B of today’s Tri-City TRIBUNE.
After the inductees were honored, the large crowd that exceeded 190 people heard the inspiration from Aaron Thomas of Parkersburg, Iowa.
Thomas is currently a Principal and Head Basketball Coach at his alma mater Aplington-Parkersburg High School.
Getting to the position Thomas is currently fills, has been an emotional-charged journey through tragedy in a community and even deeper for his family. Thomas was inspirational to all in attendance in emphasizing the importance of how to deal with adversity in a positive way, making the most of all opportunities and the power of one. He challenged all attendees to look at your life, their families and their jobs to see if you are being a difference maker.
Attendees left the Fall Ball event, inspired to make a difference by Aaron Thomas, just like Hall of Fame inductees Peg Butler, Jane Jareske and Charlie Conroy have done for the Cozad Healthcare System.
