Shon William Kloepping, 47, of Del City, Oklahoma passed away at his home. Shon was born April 18th, 1971 in Englewood,

and Staadts

Doug Susan ( ) Kloepping. Shon and his family moved to Lexington in 1973 and he attended school in the Lexington school system until he was a sophomore, he then attended Overton High School and graduated in 1989. On September 1st, 1989 he enlisted in the United States Airforce where he served his country until retiring on August 31st, 2011. After he was discharged from the service he worked for Del Computers and at Staple Office Supplies. Shon was an avid “gamer” and enjoyed reading books and watching movies. Shon leaves to mourn: his Father, Doug and wife Barb Kloepping of Lexington, Nebraska; Mother, Susan Becker of Kearney, Nebraska; Step father, Dennis Burkey of Min-den, Nebraska; Half-brother, Brice Burkey of Kearney, Nebraska; Step brothers, Trent and wife Brandi Kloepping of Gothenburg, Nebraska, Jason and wife Danette Kloepping of Bartley, Nebraska and Chad and wife Jennifer Fisher of Grand Island, Nebraska; Grandmothers, Van Kloepping of Lexington, Nebraska and Phyllis Skillman ofAinsworth, Nebraska;Aunts, Sally and husband Doug Nichols of Kearney, Nebraska, Janelle and husband Jim Hawks of North Platte, Nebraska, Lisa and husband Jim Davis of Thorton, Colorado and Christine Kozisek of Roosevelt, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Shon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Peggy Fackerell and Bill Kloepping. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 17th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Assembly Of God Church in Lexington with Pastor Rex Adams, officiating. The casket will be closed. Interment with military honors will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
