The family moved to Cozad when Dave was a 2nd grader in 1940 as his parents bought and managed the W.J.O’Connor’s Store. He graduated with the Cozad High School class of 1950. He and Jane moved to Saline, Michigan in 2019 to be near their daughter and her family. He and Jane shared almost 63 years together before her passing in February of 2020.
