A low scoring third quarter proved costly as the Swedes weren’t able to recover quite fast enough for a valiant comeback and were edged by Holdrege, 57-45 in boys hoops action on Friday evening in Gothenbttrg.
“I felt that we did a lot of good things. We need to do a better job of not over dribbling, trail screens and improve our rebounding,” expressed Gothenburg head coach Scott Carlin. “The biggest positives that didn’t show up on the scoreboard were we had a season low in turnovers and our pressure defense created a lot of havoc for Holdrege.”
