Gene D. Jensen, of Woodside, DE, passed away on Saturday, May , 2019, at the Milford Hospice Center, he was 95.

Gene was born to Chris C. Jensen and Margaret Ann Kandler on November 18th, 1923 in their farm home near a country outpost called Buffalo, Nebraska. The only thing left is the cemetery and a school house.

Joan L. Brand, 75, of Gothenburg, Nebraska died May 31st, 2019 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, NE. She was born on December 26th, 1943 in Lexington, NE daughter of Wilbur and Renata (Esslinger) Brell. She graduated from Elwood High School and attended Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, NE. She married Roger Brand on May 12th, 1963 at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Bertrand, NE and made their home in Gothenburg, NE. The couple’s union was blessed with three children, Michelle, Kristi and Mark.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Sunday, June 9th, 2019, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, June 10th, 2019 at 10:00 am with Rev. Jeff Cottingham officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.

Richard Fred Roenfeldt, passed away Friday, April 19th, 2019 at age of 83, in Sable Palms Assisted Living Facility, Largo Florida.

Memorial Services will be held at Berryman Funeral home in Cozad Ne, Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at 10:30am.

His ashes will be mixed with proceeded wife’s ashes of Nancy Lee Roenfeldt and scattered at a later date.
